Acceptance of Terms

1. By using the services of Willem Handreck, including Calendar for YNAB, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

Service Description

1. Calendar for YNAB connects to your YNAB account to generate an ICS calendar with your transactions and scheduled transactions.

User Accounts & Data

1. You must authenticate with YNAB to use the service.
2. We store your YNAB account ID, access tokens, and transaction data securely.
3. We store your transaction data while a calendar URL exists; to remove your transaction data from our system, delete the Calendar URL on the dashboard.
4. A calendar of your transactions is accessible via a unique subscription URL.
5. Calendars that have not been accessed for 3 months will be deleted to reduce personal data being kept that isn't being used.
6. Accounts without an active subscription that have not been accessed for 12 months will be deleted to reduce personal data being kept that isn't being used.
7. All rights to your transaction data remain with you; we do not claim ownership over any financial data retrieved from YNAB.

Payment & Subscription

1. Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew unless cancelled.
2. Free trials are provided at our discretion and billing commences post-trial unless cancelled.
3. A Lifetime Subscription offers one-time payment access for the duration of the operational lifetime of Calendar for YNAB.
4. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time via the dashboard.

Refunds

1. While refunds are not guaranteed, we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Your satisfaction is important to us, so please contact [email protected] for any refund inquiries.

Privacy & Security

1. All stored data is handled securely and is not shared with third parties.
2. You may delete your transaction data at any time by removing your calendar from the dashboard.

Acceptable Use

1. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
2. You agree not to abuse, exploit, data mine, or interfere with the system, including attempting to bypass security measures, overloading the service, or using it in a manner unintended by its design.

Availability & Limitations

1. Service availability is not guaranteed, and we may modify or discontinue it at any time.
2. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from service disruptions.
3. We are not liable for any inaccuracies or discrepancies in the transaction data retrieved from YNAB.

Intellectual Property

1. All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property related to Calendar for YNAB are owned by us or licensed to us.
2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the service or its content without prior written permission.
3. Ownership of transaction data remains with the user; we do not use or claim rights over your financial information beyond providing the service.

No Affiliation with YNAB

1. We are not affiliated, associated, or in any way officially connected with YNAB, or any of its subsidiaries or its affiliates. We are fans of YNAB and wanted to make it easier to keep your time and money plans in sync. The official YNAB website can be found at https://www.ynab.com. The names YNAB and You Need A Budget as well as related names, marks, emblems and images are registered trademarks of YNAB.

Termination

1. We reserve the right to terminate access to the service for any reason at any time, with or without notice.
2. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] along with the Account ID displayed on the dashboard and requesting account deletion.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

1. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
2. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first provide written notice outlining the nature of the dispute and engage in good-faith negotiations to resolve the issue.
3. If negotiations fail to resolve the dispute within a reasonable period, the parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before proceeding to court.
4. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Victoria, Australia.

Indemnification

1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Calendar for YNAB, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Changes to Terms

1. We may update these Terms of Service at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of changes.
